UVMARC CW Training Course

Starting December 3rd, 2018
Classes are from 6:00pm until 7:30pm

Classes will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
This course is focused on one of the longest running modes in amateur radio commmunications, which is CW, or Continuous Wave. CW, or often times referred to as international morse code, is a mode that consists of dits (dots) and dahs (dashes). The capabilities of CW in poor band conditions make it absolutely ideal for continued amateur radio fun and enjoyment. It also gives more flexibility in getting help in the event of an emergency.

The course will be taught by Brandin Hess, AL6I. Being an avid CW operator and enthusiast, he has spent countless hours showing operators of all ages the art and science of CW. Using the Koch method of instruction, he will carefully guide you through eight sessions of understanding that will yield great success in your amateur radio journey.

Whether you are going to just learn it for something else to add on a resume, or actually put it to good use, we can assure anyone under Brandin's instruction to be more than proficient, but willing to take the knowledge even further than a classroom.

Keep in mind there is NO FEE for the course, however a suggested donation of $20.00 would be accepted by the instructor if a student wishes to make a donation for his time.
